Duck I drop down. The smell of sweat and alcohol fill my nostrils. I feel the air swish above my head as his fist flies over my head. Crack That's the sound his kneecap makes when I slam my sneaker-covered foot into it. His scream It makes me feel alive knowing I caused it. The pure bliss his agony gives me. I'm a fighter, I fight for the the things I want, I fight for the little family I have, I fight for everything I believe in, but most of all I fight for myself. I fight on the streets where it's not safe, I fight there because I feel free and I can do what I want there. I live for the streets.
