Elle is a normal 15 year old girl in a normal world. Except that she's not and it's not a normal world. 
                 In the world Elle lives in one wrong look could get you killed. Every month one family is sacrificed to their ancient gods. When Elle finds out that her family's name is next on the list she seeks out and joins the Escape Club, a underground system dedicated to getting families out of their horrible fate alive. No one has ever made it, but Elle is set on getting out. When sudden tragedy occurs Elle meets a handsome boy named Asia and they decide to flee through the mountains until they disappear from the people's minds....... and their hearts.
