Ellie is a girl, but not a normal girl.. you'll see from her point of view what her life is like.. She meets boys.. gets thrown out of houses. her life is a mess. I will admit the book isn't so interesting in the beginning . but keep going and I promise it gets intense

I slam my laptop shut, push it away from me and scream in frustration. Why? WHY? Slowly I pick up my laptop and then with all the power I can find a throw it at the wall, it smashes and crumbles into pieces, leaving a dent in the wall. For weeks now I have been putting off reading her blog and today I finally read it, and it’s killed me. *** Alexis is a regular teenage girl, that is obsessed with lots of things. Young Anthony finds out that it is up to him and Emma to save this new world with great powers that he had no idea he had, and make it home before anybody suspects a thing. Told from a first-person point-of-view, it goes into detail about the thought processes of a young man who has everything to lose. The protagonist deals with real life struggles every day, including the death of his friend, his dad who left him at an early age, and the pain of seeing his little sister being hurt by her boyfriend. He also has to take charge and become a hero for those who can't against an unwavering bully in a far-away world. My book blends fiction with reality, as the reader follows along in the life of a shy high school student who gets thrown into many situations he must overcome as he finds out who he truly is and why it is him who needs to save the world, while keeping the reader guessing every step of the way.Complete
