Melody Daniels has charismatic personality. She has a good heart, always putting another's happiness before her own. Although she is not the most popular girl in school, due to her athletic ability (or, the lack of), she was still loved by many. She had few best friends but seemed to be able to talk to anyone. There was only one person who she had never once flashed once of her bright smiles too, yet he didn't seem to care. Blake Herrington was the cliche, popular bad boy. With a leather jacket, motor bike, and the I-don't-give-a-shit persona, a rude, arrogant, ill-tempered bad boy was all he could be labeled as. He goes through girls like one uses tissues, comes from a shitty, rich family and had never once fallen in love. He didn't plan to. That is, until he meets a girl whose too beautiful for her own good. The immediate attraction he feels for her is unexplainable, and he does everything in his power to hide it. With a smile that could bring a man to his knee's, and a personality that could warm any cold heart, including his own, Blake begins to worry that she may be the girl who can make his bad boy image crumble.

TRIGGER WARNING! Read the first story, "His Name Is Lucifer," or don't, it doesn't matter. This story Break My Heart can be read as a stand-alone. I didn't want to come off as ungrateful, though according to Mom, that was what I was an ungrateful brat. Part of me wondered if Mom hurt Dad or Ryan the way she hurt me. If I was being honest, Mom fucked me up. She made me what I am. *** This is a novella, not a novel!
