Max Llywein, a seemingly average community college student, has lived a life that is anything but normal, and filled to the brim with dark secrets and realities.
Secrets he's learned to keep hidden and realities he's learned to adapt to under the radar of common society. Ever since he started seeing the dead as a child, life has been a roller coaster of impossibilities. 18 years of living in a household where he was shunned for his visions and fed medication in a desperate attempt to get rid of them has led him to his first year of personal freedom outside of the constant monitor of his family. . . and directly into the waiting turmoil that begins with a singular individual and a chance meeting.
If it's possible to see the dead. . . then is it possible to see demons as well?

Saved by the Devil (boyxboy) ✓
There is no one in the world who could possibly love me, I know it. I've pretty much resigned to crying under my covers at night as my boyfriend who I adore links hands with my bullies at school and beats me down. Pretty cliche. I think. Sometimes, I lie awake at night, just wishing, begging, praying for an angel to fall in my lap and wave their magic wand, take the pain away. Maybe kill me silently in my sleep, take me to a better place... One where I am not alone, suffering, always suffering, and eternally rejected by the world. Still, the angels never respond, never reply, never come to my aid.. Will a DEVIL do? [A/N] Don't read this if you're sensitive to abusive scenes as there is physical and emotional abuse in this story... but have no fear, there are one or two other stories on this site you could read instead. ヽ(〃＾▽＾〃)ﾉComplete
