"How the hell can coffee be pretty?" I ask, glaring at her latte art. "That's not even coffee." "Given the fact that I didn't add sugar, it's pretty much coffee." "How can a latte not have sugar? What the actual hell?" "You just said the air was crisp." "So? That actually makes sense." "Well, how can air be crisp?" "Oh, I don't know. But it's an expression." "Well," she retorts, slamming her hand on the table as if to make it final, "pretty coffee is now an expression." ___________________ Eugene is fifteen, smart, and moving to Germany. Rae is fourteen (and five sixths!), reckless, and staying in America. Together, they're inseparable. But when Eugene's dad finds work in the middle of Kreuzberg, Germany, the two best of friends have to sort out their past, their present, and their future together. They've been there for each other through thick and thin. And with the help of crisp air and pretty coffee, maybe they can survive this too.

*Completed* My name is Allison, I'm 16 and I'm an Orphan. All my life I have lived it how I like, didn't give a shit about boys, makeups and all those other fucked up stuff. But all that is about to change. I just got adopted-I know am a bit old to be adopted but the hell I was. And now I have to try to behave like a girl. A normal girl because the family that adopted me were rich and expected me to be all decent with it too. It was originally hard to blend in, the attention of boys, the change in environment, change in school, change in friends all these occurrences affected me and influenced me on how to be a girl.
