For most of her life, Katrina had been told stories of the Doctor, of the man who saves worlds, the man who saved her all those years ago. When she was 4 her family was killed by an alien and she lost her hearing in the attack. Now that she has grown up, she doesn't need the stories in the night to help her sleep, but she still reads them again and again. Anything to feel close to the man who saved her. When she finally meets him, he knows sign... and he has translating contacts for her? How did he know she would need them?

Bad Wolf's Return (Doctor who)
I am The Bad Wolf, and I will never forgive the Doctor for making me this way... I don't know how it happened, but I do know that the Doctor left me. Whether he left me to save himself-like the ignorant man (alien) he is-or to protect me I will never understand. Of course i still miss him. The old him. Sometimes i think, maybe he misses me too. I often question the possibilities: Why? Did he realize how dangerous I was becoming? Was he scared me because I was becoming too powerful?
