Summary :

A young, wise and beautiful aboriginal native from an Ojibwe tribe, died 17 years ago giving birth to fraternal twins, Laurel and Lucas. The father of the pair, a young and arrogant white European, owner of a horse clinic took Lucas and raised him on his own, while his mother in law took care of Laurel. Raised in the same town, the twins live their lives separately but still remain together. In the small town, named Bluegrass bay, Laurel and Lucas attend the same school and he might have a thing for her but they share the same blood. To which they are oblivious to the fact... Laurel has always had a gift with horses. In a different state of mind, she can go into their soul and connect with them. Upon returning the horses she saved to their owners, a wild mustang is left behind in her stables, despite her reluctance and lack of time for the beautiful creature, Laurel adopts the horse. She loves, trains and cares a great big deal for her wild friend. And at the big horseback riding championship finals, a jealous and bitter man comes and attempts to kill Laurel's horse. Will the twins find out about their ancestry? Can Laurel prevent the attempted murder? Is there any romance brewing in town? Can Laurel keep saving horses?
