On May 6th 1996, the entire mutant race was wiped out, or so they say. On May 6th 2016, the Avengers were split, leaving Tony Stark to run a team of himself, an android, and a man who lost his legs. What happens when a new mutant shows up after twenty years and both groups show up to recruit her? Will she become an Avenger, go into hiding with her kind, or unite them against a common enemy that threatens the whole earth?
(A/N: I'm really sorry, I know I'm not a great writer, and I'm sorry if there's grammar mistakes, but still, I hope you enjoy!)

A Tale of Mischief and Mutants
When Samantha a mutant and X-man is rescued from her captors by S.H.I.E.L.D she finds comfort from an unlikely source. This story follows the relationship between my OC Samantha Howlett and everyone's favorite Jotun Loki Odinson. This is an AU where the X-men have existed in the MCU since the very beginning they are involved in the events that take place in the MCU such as the battle of New York and other "Avengers level threats." In this AU Thor Ragnarok goes down slightly differently with Thor loosing his hammer when he falls from the bifrost instead of it being broken by Hela. He finds it later and figures out its no match for Hela. Thor then goes to forge Stormbreaker which is also not strong enough and he's forced to allow Ragnarok to take place. Thanos is killed prior to 2018 so he never gets the infinity stones and most of the events in Infinity War and Endgame do not occur. In this AU Spider-Man has a public identity now and everyone's knows Peter Parker is Spider-Man. He didn't flip out like he does in the movies because Tony is there to help him through it. Magic works slightly differently than it does in the movies because I wrote this before some of the rules with it were established and it's too late to change it now for story reasons. There are also other differences that luckily can be explained away via the multiverse. Though I try to draw a lot of inspiration from the main MCU timeline and work with the continuity that gives me it's not always possible to do because of how this story needs to play out. TRIGGER WARNINGS: Strong language, violence, some sexual content (honestly not much more than a PG-13 movie would show) mentions and descriptions of physical abuse and sexual abuse. When Fury finds y/n and tells her he needs help, she ends up having to go back to school where she meet Peter Parker. Afterwards, Spider-Man meets Hybrid or really the two meet again without knowing the identity of the other due to their paranoia. After Gigi, y/n's genetically made girl groot, gets kidnapped by the ghosts of Fury's past, the two help each other as they search for Gigi and take down the organization. Will the two's relationship blossom into something more than friendship? Will they be able to take down the people who kidnapped Gigi and make it out okay?Concluída

I started this book when I was just learning how to write and need to review this book severely!!] { U P D A T E | I've decided to rewrite it!} THIS story was written in 2016 before Tom Holland's presences in Marvel And before any major events in the Marvel Universe. This was another time when we lowly marvel fans wanted Spider-Man to meet the Avengers and all that jazz. {The knew version is up! Version 2.0} Nick Fury, the leader of S.H.I.E.L.D has gathered the Avengers in hope of unmasking the mystery Spider-Man, who seems to make attention for himself saving the city. Fury puts the order out for the team to take Spider-Man in without the possible out come of a battle and get him to join. While behind the scenes. Tony and Steve are searching for a new addition to the family. A child to adopt. They search amongst the orphanages trying to find the right one. Enter Peter Parker. A 15 year old boy without any hope of being adopted. Seeing the fact that no one wants a kid who's already that old. Being the oldest in the orphanage isn't really the most amazing thing either.
