The Mysterious Mute

Jullia Wilson, a 17 year old mute high school student at Parkville High, hopes that in this last year of school, she will be free from her past. Ever since her mother and twin brother's car accident her father used her as a punching bag to deal with his grief. People might say his excess drinking led him to be angry and abusive. To make matters worse, her new step-mother was always lying about what she was doing when she wasn't home. On top of everything, she is constantly bullied by the 'popular' kids at school. Jullia is dealing with these problems when the neighboring town's high school closes. Suddenly, Antonio Moretti and gang are in her grade 12 class.

Can Jullia finally overcome her inability to socializeand be comfortable?
