The Drop of a Puddle

All her life Sophie belived her life was normal until one tragic day when the clouds turned black and her world turned dark.

'I open my eyes. All that I see at first is white. I look around, and see a woman looking over me. She smiles grimly at me. I blink my eyes. I look around again.'

'"You know, you're kind of cute, I like your eyes. They kind of remind me of a storm." My eyes bulge, and i almost choke on my hot chocolate. He chuckles and I swallow the drink cautiously. I cough a little and blush. "Sorry, it's just that your eyes are very alluring." I look down again. No one ever mentions anything about my blue-grey eyes.'
