Wren Boyce had lived in La Push Washington once upon a time, but when her parents split and she chose to leave the dreary state for a fresh start with her father in California, she had left her life in Washington behind. Like every summer prior, she returns to Washington for her yearly visits with her mom, but what she comes back to is a lot more than she's ready for. What will happen when two boys suddenly make her their entire focus in life and she's forced to either accept the bonds that have been made or run back to her life in California, away from the two boys. What choices will she make and how hard will it be for her to come to understand the things the Quilleute tribe has hidden from her and everyone else for hundreds of years?
