I nodded glumly.
"Then they won't hurt you. Even if they hurt me." He said to me sweetly.
I shook my head fiercely and angrily.
"You can't do this. I love you Liam. I can't lose you too." I told him with tears threatening to fall.
"And I love you too Eva. That's why I'm doing this." He said before running toward the Capitol as they readied there guns to shoot me.
"No!" I cried out before I watched my love get shot before my eyes.
I dropped to my knees and cried.
"YOU WILL PAY!" I yelled at the evil people before me.
"We all know that's not going to happen. On the outside your some big, bad girl. On the inside your a tiny, fragile infant." She said to me.
"This is a promise I will keep. You. Will. Pay." I told them, tears streaming down my face.
"See ya then." Scarlett taunted.
They then all disappeared.
I screamed into the cold, crisp, air.
The wash-over rocks the world, wiping out millions. In the small town of Samson, there are only 10 people left. They all are strangers to each other, but have to work together to live on what's left of their city.
