In a dystopian future, scientists have found away to swap bodies. A war broke out over how the world would handle. The LGBT community came up with the solution that you may swap bodies with the opposite gender for a year, then decide if you would keep this body or return to your own. Ryley Thompson and Taylor Williams never felt like themselves in their bodies. They felt wrong. Ryley cut her hair and dressed as a boy, playing sports and hanging out with jocks. Taylor grew his hair out, sang and took acting classes. The two were opposites, and yet would have much in common.

Two opposite sides come face to face, forcing each other to reconsider their version of the truth. *** A minority of the world's population carries a genetic modification. They are called deviants and some develop an ability by the age of seven. In the United States of America, deviants and humans fought each other in the Great War, which ended when the deviants lost. Fifteen years later, everyone lives finally in peace. But when an assassination takes place, it sets in motion several events that put Emily Roberts, the poster child of deviant integration, face to face with Rachel Moore, the leader of the terrorist group for the liberation of deviants. What is the truth and is it worth finding it out? Warning: depiction of trauma / violence / abuse.
