After running away from her insane family (Y/N) Himura reasons that the next logical step is taking the Hunter Exam, knowing her strange power and assassin skills will give her an advantage over the rest of the applicants.

It was clearly the right choice, as the path she is now inevitably leads her towards the answers she has searched for all her life; why she can't remember anything from before 4 years ago and who her mother is.

Plus, it can't be called anything but destiny and a brilliant decision when she gets to meet a certain silver haired boy she has wondered about for years; the elusive Killua Zoldyck.
Who just so happens to be of the rival assassin Zoldyck family, and she's quite aware of how mad her aunt will be if they hear they met.
So obviously, she can't pass up the chance to annoy her murderous relatives.
