When she is taken from school after a horrific event and raced to a hideout half the country away, she starts learning her family's past and her own abilities.

Mikayla Price was known as the girl with the colourful hair. Every year was a new colour, and her personality was just as vibrant and loud as that hair. Everyone loved her and wanted to be her friend. There were a few things nobody knew about her though. Secrets like her sister. Secrets can lead to lies and I would be lying if I told this secret did not change anyone's life. It changed many. Like Jack's Jack is one of the kings of Ashford and, with a nickname like Tempest, he should be. His anger issues are top notch so nobody messes with him. Until the boy of blue gets put as his cellmate and messes up everything with Jack. Jack doesn't know how this boy is able to mess up His head, His words, And cause his heart to beat so fast.
