Aasha has always been afraid of one thing: growing old alone. For her whole life, she has struggled between her drive to be a physician and her desire to have her own family. To her, it never felt like she could have both.

When Aasha moves to New York City for her residency at Promise Hospital that struggle becomes even harder. As a twenty-six-year-old starting a life somewhere new, Aasha faces the challenges of medicine and adulthood. With her ambitions conflicting her South Asian roots, will Aasha do her own name justice and hold onto hope during the most trying time of her life?
