I see him standing there, in this pitch black room. Slowly I walk to him, but he slowly moves away. Farther and farther, I run, reaching out. Hoping I'll be able to reach him if I keep trying. Faster and faster, I continue to run, but he keeps getting farther.
"Why? Why can't I ever reach you? Why is my fate like this? Why?!?" I stop running, falling to my knees, crying.
Finally I give up, I let him drift farther and farther until I can't see him. Left alone inside this darkness, with no one.
Sitting, staring at the abyss.
Behind me, I hear his voice. "Are you okay?"
