Bruce Wayne needs help, his company is crazy with work at the movement, and with villains like the Joker and Ridler on the loose, Batman's life is crazy with work. And on top of that he's got young Richard Grayson, a.k.a Robin, to look after. So his life is hectic, and the answer? Get a personal Secretary, who just happens to be a casual babysitter!
Alexis Mercury needs a full time job, just out of college she can't find a job she likes, and earning money by babysitting isn't a future for a girl with a bachelors degree in ancient history and law. Oh, and she has powers, being able to control the elements of the world doesn't get you a job! So Alexis needs a job, and when she sees the advertisement for Bruce Wayne's personal secretary, ( and babysitter to Richard ), it's the perfect position for her.
So when Alexis is hired, and gets to know Bruce and Richard incredibly well, how will she react to finding out that her boss and his son are Batman and Robin? And how will they take it when they find out that she is the new vigilante, Elementum?

But as he cleans up the streets of Gotham his way, he gets the ire of one Dark Knight and Company. Well, maybe everyone of the Bat Family. Except one. Barbara Gordon. Whose been following the gunmans career with great interest. But Dick Grayson, Damian Wayne and Alfred are wondering if there's another reason why she's following his career. Finally one night he was hot on the trail of Rupert Thorne and had him cornered in a high class estate in the hills. The Dark Knight and The Gunslinging Lawdog have their first encounter. But the Batman brought along his long time protege, Batgirl. After a close call with The Dark Knight, the gunslinger runs after giving a good bone breaking kick to Batmas knee. But leaves behind some blood from the fight and a matchbook with his fingerprints all over it. And who should pick up the matchbook and swabbed the small droplet of blood than Batgirl at the behest of Batman. The only trick is he asked for the blood. Not the matchbook. Now there are a few questions that are bound come up, One. Will this new city anti-hero join the Bat Family or will he be on Batman's most wanted list? And Two.
