Later that night, a cloaked unicorn sneaks into the castle and steals Twilight's crown. The next morning, Princess Celestia identifies the thief as Sunset Shimmer, her former student. The princesses explain that the mirror from which Sunset Shimmer escaped is a gateway to an alternate world and task Twilight with going into this other world to retrieve her crown. Little does she know, she will encounter her friends once again. What adventures await Twilight in this alternate world? It should have been the happiest day of her life. Despite all odds, Twilight passed the entrance exam to Princess Celestia's School for Gifted Unicorns. Not only that, but she also got asked to be the Princess's personal protege. And if that wasn't already amazing enough, she even got her cutie mark! Being the victim of an uncontrolled surge did not only grant her enough magic to give life to a dragon but apparently also made it possible for her to get glimpses of her future, showing her a destiny she really does not care for. So, knowing where her current path would lead her, there is really no sensible alternative than throwing everything away and changing her destiny to one she can agree to, setting her up for a life of intrigue and adventure, uncovering the many mysteries surrounding her and a certain pegasus, to find out who they really are. Unfortunately, in doing so, she ruins the carefully laid out plans a certain Princess of the Sun had drawn up. Operation Royal Roller Toaster - A MLP Chapter Book Submission
Part of the batch of stories I am trying to submit to Little Brown and Company for their MLP Chapter Book Series. Princess Celestia has agreed to chaperone Twilight's Friendship School students (The Young Six) on a trip to a Fillydelphia amusement park on the day of the unveiling of a new ride, The Friendship Express. For this trip Celestia has recruited her sister, Luna, as she herself has never ridden a rollercoaster and the prospects of a day riding them seems daunting. But that is not the only drama as young Sandbar faces his own personal fears embodied by riding Princess Cadance's love coaster... With his best friend, who may be so much more to him. Despite multiple edits this will need a few more edits before it is 100% but I completed the story and wanted to get this updated version out ASAP for hopefully a pick up of new readers.
