Why does love make people go stupid? Just over the hills - lost your mind-hilariously confounding kind of dumb?

It's a mystery to all of us who've never felt it. Felt the "butterflies in the stomach". The "he/she's the one" feeling. The "I'll give up my hopes and dreams and raise a family for the one person" feeling. The "it's not mental abuse if I love him/her" feeling.

Ok maybe not the last two are normal, for most.

All of the women in my life are in, or was in, mentally abusive relationships. Got pregnant before 20. And I'm not having it.

I'm turning 25 in a couple of days and I've never had a boyfriend, I'm a virgin, and never been kissed. I have two cats live by myself, I can do whatever I want and I'm loving it.
