Evelyn is a young girl in 18th century America. Her family supports the Loyalists' cause but as she learns more about the war, she disagrees and secretly supports the patriot side. Deciding to take matters into her own hands, she runs away from home but before she can do anything, she has an accident. She wakes up with no recollection of who she is. Having no memory and no other choice, she disguises as a boy and enlists in the patriot army. As time goes on, it becomes harder to keep her identity a secret, while she's trying to remember her life before the army.
