Luce is a 14 year old girl dying for a purpose in life by living through a Diary and avoiding her older, less sober brother Conan. Devastation is slowly suffocating her as she is nearing poverty, her father is overseas fighting a war, and her mother passed away when she was 6. Conan is only guardian, and he constantly harasses her and hurts her. Luce's life is a roller coaster that is mostly going downhill, but will one person be the only light she has never seen before.
