Fire Eyes and Wolf Hearts

Its 2013 but everything you is false. Magic exists humans have not been the dominant race for well of 50 years, werewolves are at the top of a seemingly savage hierarchy. At least that's how things are in what used to be the united states. After The Great War, when magic and technology began to meld, the democracy turned into a fractured collective of a pack monarchy. Werewolves proved to be the most suited for survival and successes in this new world and quickly took the reins as leaders, Alphas as kings and queens now known as Arbiter's, it was rare to find a leader who was not a werewolf.
With this change came another, much more gruesome change as well. Slavery. No one speaks against it, or for it, it is simply accepted by most all. The north american content is now simply known as The Northern Territories, and in its heart is the number on slave exporters in the world. Only one slave however is owned by the pack who dominates the area with harsh and dictator like ways. Our story focuses on a young she wolf and the Alpha out to change everything, the two our mates, with the power to change the world, as well as each other.
