Vivien Dalton is nothing more than an insignificant college girl with famous parents. And it seems like it will forever be that way for her. What could be worse, though?

Well, let's see: Aside from living in the shadows of her dad and her overbearing mom, she is also failing college and is nowhere near excited about what comes after. Everyday is a constant struggle for her to keep it together and to just live in the moment. She can't do that, though. Her life's too plain and she's just sublimely all over the place. Yeah. Everything's just peachy.

She just wants to quit everything she doesn't have to deal with right now, jump right in and take chances, chase something that she doesn't quite particulary know. And when she met Matty Healy, that British guy with hair curlier than hers, she caught a glimpse of that light at the end of the tunnel. Oh, him and his pulsing music and his pallete of idealistic philosophies and social defiance. He was a beautiful paradox.

Except in the real word, there is no end. Just a tunnel.
