Short story for the Literary Fiction Network contest where the prompt is to capture the struggle of a writer in 700 words or less.

Being that alcohol and writers tend to go hand-in-hand, I chose to write a story about a poet plagued by writer's block, excessively drinking Hennessy to get the juice flowing again. What follows is a self-critical lens of sadistic depreciation and inner eye's surreal journey of reaching towards truth while locked away in its physical vessel. Also, the title and indeed drink itself is inspired by 2pac.
