In our pasts we make mistakes, so in order to escape those repercussions, we look to the future for the hope of a better life; but that is a mistake. Two years after a tragic incident occurred at a very prestigious academy involving the death of a beloved teacher, invitations to a gregarious weekend getaway are delivered to the doors of 16 of her former students. Each on their own paths and achieving success in their respective fields of talent, they begrudgingly accept the invitation for a class reunion at an estate very familiar to them on the anniversary of their teacher's death. Once they arrive, the former student's own emotions and personalities quickly clash when it is discovered that their generous host is nowhere to be found. It isn't until they are told by the two mysterious caretakers of the estate, that in accordance with the rules of the reunion no one is allowed to leave until the mystery of their teacher's death is solved. Now forced to work together under pre-established rules, they must look to their pasts, their present, and their futures in the hopes of going back to the everyday life they had once only dreamed for.
