This short story is about the Republic of Nova, and twenty children raised by the Lab - a group of scientists whose only goal is "bettering the life in the Republic," with no regard to the children they practice their gene-splicing experiments on. This story includes trolls, from a popular webcomic called Homestuck, but you don't have to have any prior experience with the webcomic to understand my story. Everything you do need to know will be explained in my story. 

This story follows twenty children, the humans being characterized by the numbers 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, and 10, while the trolls are characterized by the Greek alphabet, Alpha, Beta, Gamma, Delta, Epsilon, Zeta, Eta, Theta, Iota, and Kappa as they do their best to gain back the Republic that has been gone for 23 years, and banish the new law that says one third of the children living there are to be given to the Lab for their own sick thrills. Nova is 13, and if a person's power doesn't show by the time they're 14, they're given to the Government to either be tested or killed. The Government basically makes all the decisions for the whole country. So, Nova's 13, and she still hasn't discovered her powers. When her birthday comes, she still has no power. She can either be sent to the Government, for either testing or death, or she can risk her life running away. I created this story, I created these characters, the characters and the plot are mine. This story is written in first person (using I, we, us, etc.) Also, this is going to be my story for the #justwriteit challenge Also, the idea for this story was given to me by one of my best friends, @minewtlover14
