Dan: scared because a demon is trying to take over his mind and kill everyone he loves.
Phil: helpless because he can't do anything to help anyone and is scared he might die.
April: tariffed because she's stuck in a room with her role models and one of them might kill her.
Liz: paralyzed because she met her two idols, was kidnaped by a man who she didn't know, and was thrown into a room were she was tortured in a blink of an eye.
Everyone's life just suck at this point. Dan might kill his friends,Phil feels helpless and wants to help but can't,April is stuck in a room and might die in that room, and Liz's worst and best dreams just became reality. Read the book and see if anyone dies or if any love life's blossom!!!

Dan is quiet and never in a very good mood. Due to the bully at school and his general home life, he's depressed and he doesn't like to eat much as it only makes him more depressed. Dan truly just wants to be loved. Phil is usually always happy, his home life may be scattered but he for the most part doesn't let it bother him, and he seems to just go with the flow, that is until Dan catches his attention and Phil makes a decision to stick up for Dan.
