Don't you hate it when your parents don't understand you? Maybe you have so much misunderstanding with them, you wonder if you're even related. In my case, my mom and I have NO understanding. We are opposites. She always wants to get me skirts and dresses, when I'm just fine with jeans, a Doctor Who tee, and my favorite varsity jacket.
You may ask, "What about your dad?". Well, he's not in the picture. Not even in my memory. Probably never will. The last time my mom said she'd seen him was Spring Break of 2016; when she became a teen mom with me. That's all I know about him. The guy who whoo'd my mom's world when she was only seventeen.
One day I asked her, "Why did you... 'do it' with him at such a young age?"
She replied, "In spring break, anything can happen. Even dreams coming true." Then she walked off into her office, nicknamed 'Cave'.
Ever since then, I wondered what she meant, 'Even dreams coming true.' It's not like he was a BIG celebrity... Right?
