A violin. A stringed musical instrument of treble pitch, played with a horsehair bow. The classical European violin was developed in the 16th century. It has four strings and a body of characteristic rounded shape, narrowed at the middle and with two f-shaped sound holes.

John Watson is a senior in high school. In his school, they have to have a useless credit-music. Out of everything John could have taken he was drawn to one class nobody else took. Violin.

Sherlock Holmes is a professor in Violin in Hanson High School. He teaches the violin, a class nobody takes. With nobody taking his class he tends to play for the entire school day. That is until one day when a senior enrolled to take violin.Todos los derechos reservados

But this was very important scientific research and, as Sherlock was busy with a case, it fell to John to collect the data. Sherlock danced. Sherlock danced all the time, really. He danced about the flat, he danced about the crime scene, he danced about the morgue. He had even taught John to dance for his own wedding, something which John now sincerely wished he could undo because Sherlock surely felt very used. But nearly each and every movement made by the tall, lithe detective was a dance, a sway, a swish, his hips somehow always moving at a different pace than the rest of his body. This left John curious as to which types of music would elicit which types of dancing. So he put together a playlist of songs he liked and songs he thought Sherlock would like and he set about testing Sherlock's hips.

Then, at John's school, where Sherlock had enrolled into the regional jazz band. Sherlock was, at first, unbeknownst to John's musical skill until he was watching the young man play with some of the greatest in the Central London jazz band. Sherlock had to know more about John. The setting takes place when John is 13 and Sherlock is technically 12, but they grow up apart and reunite when they're 16 and 15 respectively.
