Technically, John met her first. And then Karkat did. And then Dave did, but about a month or so after. He couldn't help but feel a little bit out of the loop- after all, he was missing out on a good opportunity to make a new friend. Well, at least that's what he told himself. After he started to notice everything about her- her laugh, her smile, what she orders from Starbucks- he knew in the back of his mind that that lie simply wasn't going to work anymore.
