Katerina Mikaelson, a 17 year old young women is an abomination to her family. Her family is the original vampires. Her mother, Esther, had an affair against her husband, James, and slept with a man; who on full moons turns into a beast. From her unfaithfulness she receieved two children from the man, Katerina Mikaelson and Niklaus Mikaelson. When Katerina and Niklaus were turned into vampires, they made their first kill on a human thus triggering their werewolf gene. They are a different kind of species; a hybrid. Changing into a wolf only when desired. How will she live up to show her family she is not an abomination? And how does Damon Salvatore fit into all of this?
