|Book Zero of The Bearer Saga|

There have always been stories, passed from generations, about a sword that can bestow death upon anyone or anything that it touches.

Danton Marcus Ravier is an apprentice to the King's Advisor, next in line to become to the Advisor to the Future King. But this is not the future he seeks. His ambitions are far greater and in order to achieve what he dreams, he needs to find this lethal weapon that everyone seeks but does not dare to find.

He ventures through the Kingdom of Mountain, not knowing whether this weapon actually exists or is simply a made up rumor by a drunk idiot in the Tavern. In his search for this sword, he comes across Estelle Knightey - a girl with enthralling beauty and wit. She promises to aid him if he promises something in return.

Join Danton Marcus Ravier in his quest to find this weapon of magnificence. Why is he determined to have it and lose everything else?

With her husband away on business, Gertrude Bard awaits his return in their manor in Cornwall, England. She spends her days in the company of her three children - Ophelia (12), Rosen (8), and Gilbert (6) - and her husband's younger brother, Claude, who has come to stay with them during the patriarch's absence. Not long after Claude's arrival, strange and unexplainable things begin to occur. Objects go missing, the piano plays on its own, and Gilbert has a sudden imaginary friend who may or may not be a ghost. Claude claims ignorance, and Gertrude begins to doubt her sanity.
