This story came to me while I was TRYING to sleep. Credit to my best friend for being my sole motivation for writing (you know who you are). Anyways, this is my first shot at a thriller story for Just-Write-It in October. Here goes nothing!

Amelia has been feeling pretty low since her friend, Casey, died in a hit-and-run a few months ago. When her friend Michaela tries to cheer her up with a mystery to solve, she can't refuse. But what secrets are hiding in this small town, and how long can they remain hidden?All Rights Reserved

When the two start investigating, they realize that the truth is pointing to something dark. Almost everyone attending Redwood has secrets, and they'll do what it takes to keep them private. When the truth starts to come out, Hope is left to wonder if she remembers the dreadful night and finds out she had something to do with it, will she ever forgive herself?
