Camila is forced to go to a boarding school for troubled youths. However Camila is not troubled, she's just gay. Her parents didn't react well to this news and shipped her off to boarding school. Here she'll meet a hot-headed, rude and impulsive Lauren. Camila decides she hates the girl after an angered run in with her.
Lauren is an ill-behaved, weed and alcohol consuming 18 year old. Which is how she ended up in the boarding school. She takes photos of things she finds beautiful which she feels is often overlooked by most people, and plays guitar to create a beauty which can only be appreciated by herself. She thinks of Camila to be "perfect little daddy's girl" who can do no wrong in her parents eyes and gets straight A's. But what she couldn't figure out is why Camila was in the boarding school with Lauren. What happens when Lauren begins to find out?
What they don't know is that they both share a fondness for the moon, and it is exactly that which will bring them closer together despite their differences.
