The tide has finally gone out, taking the noise and the salt of the old wounds with it. For so long, I thought the only way to survive the ocean was to keep fighting the current, to keep my head just high enough to breathe. But then I looked at her, and I realized the water isn't our enemy anymore. We aren't drowning; we're just... landing.
