Artemi Panarin is fresh off a great rookie season. He won Rookie of the Year and returned to Russia a hero. As he ascends his sophmore season with the Blackhawks he looks for ways to grow both mentally and on the ice. Still a little timid he looks to break out.

Annabelle Tyler was a child genius. She knows just about everything there is to know, but her true passion is helping people. Using her brain she studies athletes and any game out there. After struggling last season the Blackhawks decide to hire a Sports Therapist for the season to see if it helps, and she's their girl.

This story follows the 2016-2017 season through the ups and downs of a NHL calendar year and one of the most electrifying players playing the game.
