A new strand of the rabies virus plunges the world into an apocalypse. The infected roam the now void streets, hunting for fresh meat. The scarce few non-infected, are either cowards or monsters themselves. Can you keep your humanity when you can't trust anyone? Follow Arilynn Carter as she endeavours to survive the end of the world. Sample: The walls, the floors, I look up, the ceiling, all are painted red. Blood and gore oozes down the surfaces and the small amounts of air that I manage to suck into my lungs is heavy with the putrid stench exclusively associated with death. A few meters ahead of me I see a foot, still laced into a shoe, attached to nothing. Hands, legs, arms, heads, just scattered over the entire length of the corridor. My eyes skim over the bloody scene, my brain still ten steps behind trying to process all the red, trying and failing to make sense of it all. As my eyes continue further down the corridor of death I feel my brain completely short-circuit. Right at the end of the corridor is what looks to be a dozen or more monsters leaning over more corpses, and the worst part is all of their milk-glazed dead eyes are staring straight at me.
