Earth has turned catastrophic. Wave after wave of assault hits the very place where humans and animals call home. Several hundred thousands of people die everyday, whether due to the "other-wordly" plague, or to the freak storms and earthquakes that occur once every week. In the midst of it all, The Salvatores, a unearthed elite research group decides to form an army with the Awakened; children with unnatural powers who are told to be the offspring of plague infected mothers. Within them, Rebecca has decided to trust The Salvatores whole-heartedly. As a top soldier, many of the leaders are biased towards her. But as the Earth grows weaker, secrets are uprooted, and Rebecca finds that her saviours aren't what she thought they were.All Rights Reserved
