Celestial Rainbow Moonchild has spent her entire life on the road, travelling the white line with her hippie parents. Carefree and oblivious to the luxuries of technology, Celeste has a world of opportunity before her.

When her family decide to take a break from travelling and settle into the small lake town of Flinders', the Moonchild family becomes acquainted with local family the Mason's, and more particularly, their son Leon.

Drawn into a world riddled with the benefits and downfalls of adolescence, Celeste's eyes are open to an entirely new world; one she never knew existed. Among hundreds of new questions about life, one stands out for Celeste:

Will she choose the life of a Nomad, or the life of a teenage girl?
