"The people we look up to are similar to us in more ways than we may think about. But what does differentiate them from the rest of us is the courage to stand up for themselves even if the whole world stands against them on the other side."

Idols. We look up to them. We aspire to be like them. We get inspired by them as they possess the courage to do what few of us ever will - break traditions and preconceptions that run deep in society - and in the process, achieve their own goals and ambitions in life.

IDOL is a story of love, and of the turmoil and conflicts that arises from such a relationship between two human beings. Transcending physical, mental or social traits, IDOL also addresses the social stigma and alienation that same-sex relationships face in normal lives, and aims to break the traditional mindset that society, by and large, sees them with.

What Is Freedom?

16 parts Complete

Different is defined as partly or totally unlike in nature , form , or quality . This quality of different is something that separates us as people and makes us individuals and is normally looked at as being a good thing that makes you unique . But in this new world of so - called " equality " different is looked at as something to be ashamed of and something you are ultimately punished for . This battle of standing out is what our 5 teenagers face each and every day and the fight against the new " normal " is one that our 5 teens must face with their freak flags flying high .
