The human race destroyed the Earth with wars, as a last ditch effort to preserve their species ten thousand people are sent in a space ship to a neighboring galaxy light years away. Their leader's son was cryogenicly frozen to lead the generation that survives and lands on this new planet they were invited to by  cautiously trusting alien lifeforms.
