"If only I could escape.." It's the year 2043, only about thirty years from about 2013, where everything was perfect. Now, everything is collapsing. The oil is running out; the heat has bumped up about fifty degrees, and when it's cold, you grow icicles on your nose. Electricity constantly goes out; maybe four times a day, and since the oil is running out it's nearly seventy dollars for a gallon, and since it's so much delivery trucks got cut back so our local stores like Wal-Mart, CVS, even WalGreens are either closed; nearly empty; and rarely, just half empty. Soon; people start dying, losing jobs, homeless, killing, the world has gone insane. The world has truly perished, once and for all. Now, onto more important matters of this story. Marine Canes is, or was, a collage student, studying in police work. She knows her way around the gun; and she constantly hates it when people refer her name as in the Navy Marines. And when the world collapses around her; she just might too. With her and a few collage friends, they set out and try to survive, since, everything has gone to shit. Maybe on the way, they can even try to bring some type of humanity back to the blackening earth. Will she be able to stand through all the madness with her friends, or will she just might perish right along with the earth?

Content Warning-This story is meant for mature audiences. It features adult language, references, situations, sexual content, graphic violence, and gore. Fantasy, horror, and science fiction are my favorite genres to read. They are also my favorite to write. I've enjoyed writing since I won my first writing contest in the fourth grade. That was over twenty-five years ago and I haven't shared a sinlge word of it. Imposter syndrome is a bitch! Well, I finally managed to pull the trigger. Here is "O Negative". It's a mix of all of my favorite genres. I've mixed a fantasy, based on present-day Earth, with plenty of graphic horror and wrapped it all up within a world driven by the technological advancements that only can be obtained from millions of years of civilation. A small group of strangers find themselves surviving in a decimated world. It's bad enough to be stranded in a no-name town, but things become surreal when you realize the vast majority of humanity has died...it becomes terrifying when you realize you aren't that lucky to be alive. "Survivor's Guilt" isn't a thing when you find yourself the sole food source for an entire group of beings that no longer need to hide in the shadows. Man is no longer at the top of the food chain...they are now the cattle.
