The Germans, Italians, and their cronies (which happened to be Romania, Hungary, and Croatia) against the Russians and us, a small group of around two-to-three hundred American reinforcements. And how I survived it? A death (among many), my utter uselessness to the army, and quite a lot of paper clips."
