Valentine is an artistic guy who has a normal life, school, stress, sports, relationships. While his sister Cassandra is a shapeshifter who loves adventure.

On the other hand, Ian was born a hunter, with years of experience, he crossed path with this girl before but in a different life.

On the bloody battlefield decades before, a champion, leading a whole army of warriors to the finish line. 
Then she retired.
The fame and glory lasted for a few centuries until an old enemy came back and turned the whole system upside down.

A former commander now has to fight through high school, for the first time.
It might be easy since she is the captain of the field hockey team, stable social life, and knowledge greater than your grandparents. But what she doesn't know is that her past is waiting for the right time to strike.
