Life is mysterious. Many people live their lives in complete misery while others live idly by completely happy with no problems. While all around them they don't know that there are people on the edge of life and death. People are too naive to notice what's wrong even when it's right in front of them. Maybe it's because they are to arrogant. There are questions to be asked but they don't care to ask them. Question everything. Sometimes knowing is worth more than being happy. Knowing that you're not alone in the world.
This story will cover the lives of three different individuals with similar problems. Their lives overlap many times and they become close through hardship, but all the while they never notice that each one of them were breaking down inside and it leads to their downfall. It's up to them to come together and make life worthwhile.

Altered
Have you ever met someone who alters the course of your life? For good or for bad, they've come in, given and taken, and then- BOOM! Your life was never the same. There's always a change, an altering of reality. When you meet those people, the reality that you've known your whole life is suddenly gone and a new one has taken its place. When those moments happen, there's no going back. You can try to return to the way things were but nothing, and I mean nothing, can take you back to exactly how it was. That's what happened to us. I think that's why we're still trying so desperately to get back to some sort of normalcy. Four years later and we're still on the ground, crawling, in search of the happiness that was lost that June. Summers will never be the same. Midnight walks through my neighborhood will never be the same. Field parties with bonfires and loud music will never be the same. I still don't know why you left and what lead you to the decision you made. What I do know is that we're here. We're alive and we're pushing forward to the future. A future that you're not a part of. The friends in this story are trying to make names for themselves, figure out who they are, who they can trust, how to love, and how to separate themselves from a restrictive community. Marks life suddenly became difficult and miserable for him to understand, mark lost himself in a very painful memories that refuse to heal up while he was young. Losing someone or something is not a choice or something it's predicted. It just happens. You cannot know when it will happen. The worst part of it all is that you can't get it back. Once it's gone, there is no turning back. You truly see how much love and appreciation it deserved, but cause you were so live careless you never gave the tendance it should have gotten. You think to yourself over and over again, where did you go wrong? If you did just one thing differently would everything change? Would the end change? Sadly it won't cause the truth is, the end will come. It doesn't matter if it is sooner or later, but it will come and nothing else will mater. There isn't a happy or sad ending, there just an end. Being a loved one isn't that difficult, is it? Some people believe it's easy. Ironically, many do not know how it feels to have people around who care for them. "Leo pinned me against the wall with his hips; his hands gently gripping my wrists, keeping my arms above my head against the cool brick behind me. His beautiful, hazy blue eyes -that had turned straight quicksilver, again- were filled with such an intense, carnal desire I couldn't even look into them, so I looked over his shoulder. I saw a small group of kids from the group standing out by their cars who would easily be able to see what we were doing...or at least what Leo was doing to me. At that moment, my mind started wandering to all the things that I could be doing to him right now...but I stopped that train of thought, immediately, as it started heading to all the wrong places... All the dirty places... All of those places involving a very hard part of my body... I glanced back at Leo; his gaze was still as intense as it was before (unfortunately). He smirked at me and said confidently, "You can't ignore me forever, Ethan. You're eventually gonna fall for my charms..." Ethan Carter was focused on 2 things. 1. School (obviously) and 2. Getting over ex (it's proving to be, harder than he thought), but now he has to add dying to that list, and suddenly having feelings for a boy (which has happened once before, but Ethan tries to forget it). Leo Malone makes Ethan feel things he's never felt for another guy. Leo's sweet, patient, and understanding, the only problem is, he's a guy.
