Liam is a vampyre that has just been caught by the VEO, the Vampyre Eradication Organization, who is continually visited by a mysterious woman in his dreams. He didn't ask to be a vampyre, in fact he was turned against his will. But the VEO didn't care. They beat and starved him for weeks before they assigned him a caretaker.

Dylan is a newly hired caretaker for the VEO. He only recently found out that he is immune to a vampyre's mind control called glamour. After that he was taken in by the VEO and put to work at minimum wage. It was almost as if he himself were a prisoner. After a few weeks of caretaker training, he was assigned to be the caretaker for a vampyre named Liam.

Tommy and Abby have been Dylan's best friends since he could remember. But even they have a secret, which holds information about what Dylan is and what happened to his people.

What will happen when Dylan finds out what he really is? Who is the mysterious woman that visits Liam in his dreams? What really happened to Dylan's ancient race? Who is hunting Dylan down? Who is Liam's maker?
