Dan Smith finds himself in a predicament when he figures out he has a case of vertigo, a whirling and dizzying sensation, due to acrophobia, the fear of heights, when he is hanging off the side of a building and his friend's life is in danger.
Dan's case of vertigo cripples him in dire situations especially when it comes down to the life or death of his soulmate.
