Poems from a Scarred Heart
This is kinda like a collection of my sad poems I made since my sophomore year until now. Well, I must say that being 'friendzoned' or whatsoever isn't that bad. This pile of works says that love just happens to be a two-way street and both leads somewhere far and you hold the choice. Hindi lahat ng kwento may masayang wakas. Pero lahat ng kwento, may tuldok. Ang tuldok, hindi pang-tigil. Pahinga lang yun. Paghinga. Bago magsimula ulit. Itong libro, collection ng mga tuldok ko. Yung mga gabing pinili kong magbitaw. Yung mga umagang pinili kong lumaban. 12 na tula. Walang edit. Walang pilit. Kung ano yung lumabas nung 3am, yun yun. Kasi natutunan ko: Hindi mo kailangan ng tamang sukat at tugma para maging totoo. Kung bitbit mo rin ang sakit, malugod kitang sinasamahan. Basahin mo lang. Dahan-dahan. Tuldok tayo sa bawat pahina. Ikaw ang araw, Sa langit na bughaw. Ikaw yaong yelo, na s'akin kailan may hindi matutunaw. Mahal kitang umaapaw. Kailan muling babagsak ang bulalakaw? Sa pagkikitang muli nais ka'ng maisayaw.
